One day project lasting one week.

The base of the table has been constructed with the pieces of an old washing machine, an electric touret that could no longer be used, and other pieces of recouped materials whose original fonction was unknown to us.
The top of the table is made of a large number of metallic letters assembled together to create a flat and harmonic surface. These letters are enclosed within a metalic structure whose original shape has been produced by welding together metalic poles that were no longer useful to us. The whole is covered by several layers of glass, cut along the shape of the metallic letters, so as to create a smooth surface that is easy to clean.
Two lamps have been set up under the table so as to create a seducing light in the room.

In spite of the difficulties encountered during the production, this table is most likely one of our favorite work. The challenge was to find a way to produce something beautiful and fonctional, without buying any of the materials necessary for the construction. This brought us to constantly reformulate our plans and objectifs, to eventually arrive to a result that is much better than what we would have otherwise conceived.
We managed to translate a constraint into an opportunity to develop our creativity and this allowed us to evolve beyond the self-imposed constraints.
