The table of infinity.. This is where all political discussions end up: in an infinite tunnel of arguments, or, more precisely, in an infinite loop of non-sense

We made the table completely out of recycled materials, for the most part donated to us by the streets of firenze (literally the streets are piled up with amazing art materials here, like no other city I've ever seen.
The base of the table is made of beautiful pieces of wood that were being thrown away right next to our home. We took them and sliced, diced and fashioned them into 4 interconnectable pieces which allow the table to be easily dismantled and remantled.
The center piece is made out of the drum of an old washing machine that was abandoned on the street. originally just picked up in order to have fun taking apart a large apliance it turned out to be extremely beautiful on the inside. The stainless steel drum was just yelling to be used when I found i couldn't remove the bearing from the bottom (some serious loctite was used) it just sort of solidified itself as the spinning stroby center for a table.
The cover of the table is made out of pieces of broken glass which were being thrown away as well. We took them and cut them into symmetrical pieces trying to find an interesting and meaningful shape to give the table top. We applied 2-way mirror film over the glass, which operates in combination with the mirror at the bottom of the drum in order to allow for the infinity mirror to properly achieve its function.
The lights which creates the infinity tunnel were the most expensive elements of the table. In fact, those and the film was all we bought for that table the only items that we actually had to buy..

Check out the video that illustrates a version of the infinity mirror in operation:
